Ok, so it wasn’t really a letter, but it was words…
So for a moment, I’d like to pause and do a little shameless self promotion… but it’s my blog, so I can do that, right?
As you may or may not know, a few weeks ago I released a new book called Expand Your Business…One Subscriber at a Time as part of my $7 Business Builders Line.
I was pretty proud of it. It’s not majorly long, just 32 pages, but it’s packed full of information, it’s only $7 and it comes with a kick-butt affiliate program.
Last night, I got a testimonial from someone who had read the book and I thought I would share…
I had the privilege of working with Heather before this book was written when I was looking to start my own newsletter. I had a lot of fears and concerns at starting a newsletter, but Heather provided me with the support and information I needed to realize that the task is not as overwhelming as I had feared. I am so glad that Heather has written this book to give others the wealth of knowledge I was able to take from Heather and at such a great price!! When I read Heather’s book, I was surprised to learn some tips that I hadn’t even thought of even though I have been providing a newsletter for sometime now. With the information provided in this book I am excited about how I can take my newsletter and make it even better for my subscribers. This book is a must have for not only those thinking of starting a newsletter, but those that are already utilizing newsletters in their business. The best part is her awesome “affiliate” program. Where else can you buy a book and have the potential to earn every last cent you paid. It’s like getting “free” information!! — Yvonne Weld, Thriving Business…the Series
Thanks Yvonne!
If you haven’t picked it up yet, what’s stopping you? Seriously… it’s $7 and worth every penny (especially if you become an affiliate!)
Permalink 2 CommentsFor the past few weeks, I’ve been redesigning my personal blog. The reason?
I didn’t have enough sidebar space. I wanted a third one, so I had it redesigned to include the extra space.
And my business partner, Becki, kept telling me that I needed to “Loofah my columns”.
I had no idea what she was talking about until yesterday when she finally came clean.
Andy Wibbels has put out a series of videos called Blogging Blunders and I highly recommend that you check them out.
But here’s the video about the loofah. Despite your laughter, think about what he says…
What are your thoughts about the “prime real estate” of your columns?
Until next time…
Heather
PS. I’m in no rush to grab my loofah…
Permalink 6 CommentsDear Henry:
I have a problem. I have two brothers. One brother is in advertising. The other was put to death in the electric chair for murder. My mother died from insanity when I was three years old. My sisters are prostitutes and my father sells drugs to high-school students. Recently, I met a girl who was just released from a youth prison where she was serving time for killing her dog with a sledge hammer, and I want to marry her. My problem is, should I tell her about my brother who is in advertising?

Permalink 2 CommentsI’m embarrassed and ashamed that I’ve let my bloggy home sit dormant.
Excuses?
I have none. Well, not any viable ones. It was one of those balls that I was juggling and I let fall by the wayside.
Wrong of me?
Absolutely.
How does it look to those that might stumble upon it? Like I’m no longer in business or that I simply don’t care.
Neither are true but that’s the impression that’s given.
I’ve been busy the past few months, with my business. Fun times, let me tell you. I’ve accomplished alot and there are are still many more things on the horizon. And I’m sure that you’ll hear about them soon enough.
For the time being, let me recap what I’ve been working on.
You’ll find new issues of Marketing Made Simple…
And you’ll find a new book… check it out, because purchasers of this book make 100% commission, paid instantly!
Things are hopping over at the Revolution…
Plus there are other things that I’ve been tweaking here and there.
But I’m going to be around now. Or at least try to be. Things are hopping! And we’re getting ready for 2008…
I, personally, can’t wait! It’s going to be the best year yet!
Until next time…
Heather
